iPod Interface (PT545-00082)

The interface kit for iPod uses a proprietary 30-pin Apple iPod connector via connection point in the glove compartment to provide a direct connection from an iPod to the vehicle head unit, allowing the driver to control the iPod using either the steering pad or audio system controls.

Notes:
Conflicts with MY2010 Camry
Conflicts with MY2011 Corolla & Matrix
MY10 & MY11 4 Runner requires Satellite Ready base audio (D4)
Requires audio head unit to be satellite ready
Some premium audio units have embedded XM and conflict with the iPod Interface kit
The 2009 Corolla and 2009 Matrix with Premium Audio (JBL) has embedded XM and conflicts with the iPod Interface
Some base grade audio are not satellite ready
Either iPod or Sat Radio can be installed, not both
If the iPod Interface kit is conflicted, then the AUX input jack should be used with the iPod player
